When you think of Vegas you don’t necessarily think of it as kid-friendly. But we decided to take the girls anyways and find all the G rated activities we could. Adventuredome Theme Park in Circus Circus…you could spend an entire day there! Caricature painting, roller skating, arcade, roller coasters, trampolines, and so much more. We all had a blast and could’ve stayed there longer if we had the time. Other favorites of ours were strolling through Caesars Palace for shopping, food, and watching the “sky” turn colors. To end the day we went to Bellagio’s fountain show which never disappoints. Plus, it’s free!
The 4 hour drive from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon was beautiful and peaceful. We rented a car for 2 days and stayed one night near the Grand Canyon. Going in December is definitely a lot chillier than we were anticipating. It got down to 14 degrees! We wish we would’ve prepared better and brought gloves & hats. That aside the views made up for the bitter cold. Breathtaking, surreal views. We wondered if our girls would be old enough to appreciate it and they were (ages 9 and 10). We would love to go back – when it’s warmer.
